On 18 February 2027 at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen, Mike Dawes brings his singular take on the steel‑string acoustic guitar, where melody, bass lines, percussion and accompaniment coexist on a single instrument. Raised in Guildford, he pivoted from electric to acoustic in 2008 and built a solo language that draws from instrumental rock, folk and pop, balancing original compositions with inventive reworks.

On stage, Dawes navigates harmonics, tapping, syncopated grooves and quick dynamic shifts without loops, letting the arrangement do the talking.
