Telenova

On 6 October 2026 at Oslo in Hackney, London, Telenova arrives: an alt-pop trio from Melbourne led by the voice and songwriter Angeline Armstrong, alongside multi-instrumentalists Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty. On stage they weave trip-hop, electronic music and indie songwriting into songs built on dark textures, soft rhythms and a prominently placed vocal.

After debuting with the EP Tranquilize (2021) and the single "Bones," they honed their approach with "Stained Glass Love" and moved to a full-length format with Time Is a Flower (2024), material that fuels much of their setlist.

The live show works on melodic tension and measured arrangements: elastic beats, layered synths, discreet guitars and crisp vocal lines. The experience gained at Australian festivals and on tours across the UK and Europe — including opening slots for girl in red, St. Vincent and Ruel — is evident in a polished yet accessible set that balances pop immediacy with an electronic sensibility. In London, Telenova brings their nocturnal atmospheres and a straightforward visual-musical narrative, flowing without frills between new songs and the tracks that introduced them.
