Info
Panchiko bring their lo-fi, shoegaze-tinged dream pop to Tramshed Cardiff on October 14, 2026. Formed in Nottingham in the late 1990s by Owain Llewelyn, Andy Wright and John Still, the band first surfaced with ultra-limited CD-Rs, including the EP D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L (2000) and Kicking Cars (2001). Long dormant, those recordings later resurfaced online and found a new audience, prompting reissues and a return to the stage. Since then Panchiko have been touring the UK, Europe and North America, folding their early material into a set alongside new songs, with arrangements that balance saturated guitars, discreet electronics and a gentle, melancholic vocal line. Their 2023 album Failed at Math(s) pushes that blend further, giving the live show a wider palette without losing the grain and intimacy of the first tracks. On stage, the set moves between haze and clarity, glitches and chorus-drenched riffs, tracing the arc from those home-dubbed beginnings to their current live sound.
