Bellaire

Paris-based producer and DJ Bellaire brings his house-and-disco blend to The Wardrobe in Leeds on 28 May 2026. Since the late 2010s, he’s built a sample-led sound rooted in soul, jazz and funk, with loops and chops inherited from hip-hop. Paris City Jazz, released in 2018, set the template: warm keys, supple basslines and grooves tied to 90s funky and garage house. He belongs to a European club scene that connects American house, disco and the French touch, keeping the writing simple, melodic and tightly rhythmic.

On stage, Bellaire moves fast and clean, stacking concise tracks that lock quickly and stay readable on the floor. Expect fluid transitions, brass stabs and Rhodes chords, filtered hooks and crisp drums, switching from buoyant disco textures to leaner club tools without breaking the thread. Through his imprint Bellaire Records, he extends that approach with bright, sample-based cuts designed for dancers, linking late-20th-century references to a younger crowd. In Leeds, he focuses on groove and harmony over gimmicks, letting tension rise and drop with an easy hand.
