Bears in Trees bring their DIY-leaning indie rock, emo and pop-rock from South London to The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham on 26 May 2026. Formed in 2014 in Croydon, the quartet shares songwriting and vocals, giving their live set a collective pulse that moves between direct guitars, tight melodies and lyrics rooted in the mess and milestones of growing up. From Just Five More Minutes (2017) through the EPs I See Blue (2019), I Want To Feel Chaotic and Keep Me Safe (2020), the double single Flower Through Concrete (2021) and the album and everybody else smiled back (2021), the band has shaped a catalogue ready for the stage. Their 2024 release, How to Build an Ocean: Instructions, extends that thread with new material that sits naturally beside earlier tracks. On stage, songs switch lead voices, dynamics rise and fall, and the self-described dirtbag boyband vibe holds the set together. Over the years, Bears in Trees have toured the UK, Europe and North America, headlining or sharing bills with Just Friends, NOAHFINNCE and You Me at Six; this date folds that live experience into an intimate room.
