Anacondaz bring their new album Night with an Astrakhan Guy to 229 London on 20 May 2026. Back from a four-year pause with their eighth full-length, the Astrakhan-born team push their hybrid “Pauzern” DNA further on stage, sliding from clipped rap cadences into riff-led rock without losing the bite that built their following. Two front voices trade verses and hooks, guitars lean in, and the rhythm section keeps the swing between hip-hop snap and rock drive.

The set leans on the new record’s seventeen tracks, where the band’s eclectic arrangements get sharper while the lyrics stay pointed. Complicated love and fractured relationships rub up against reflection and self-analysis; snapshots of everyday reality are cut with a dry, sometimes bitter humour. Through the melancholy, flashes of resolve surface in songs like Focus on the Best, Smile, and Yura, We’ll Catch Up on Everything, pieces that fold melody into punch and turn introspection into choruses built to be shouted back.

Sixteen years in, Anacondaz tour internationally with a catalogue that links rap-rock, alt hip-hop and bursts of pop-punk. In London, expect a tight, high-energy run through the new album, stitched to earlier staples and shaped for a room built on sweat, swing and crowd vocals.
