Electric Six

Electric Six land at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on 5 December 2026. Formed in Detroit in 1996 and first known as The Wildbunch, the band has built its own mix of alternative rock, funk, garage, hard rock, new wave and disco. Fronted since day one by singer Dick Valentine, they stitch sharp hooks to danceable grooves and buzzing guitars, with a taste for pop references and tongue‑in‑cheek storytelling.

The early 2000s brought the breakout singles Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar and the album Fire, setting the template they’ve kept refining through Señor Smoke, Switzerland and a steady run of records up to Turquoise in 2023. On stage, Electric Six play it like a live band first: drums and riffs up front, synths pulling the beat, vocals swinging between deadpan and fervor. Setlists often swing from the hits that made them to newer cuts, folding satire and club-ready pulse into straight-ahead rock energy. Detroit roots, London night, one band that likes friction and groove in the same song.
