On 11 October 2026, Pete & Bas bring their London-bred rap to New Century in Manchester. Since 2017, Peter Bowditch and Basil Bellgrave have carved a lane at the junction of UK drill, grime and British hip hop: direct bars, dark, minimal production and a dry sense of humour rooted in south-east London stories. The duo broke out with Shut Ya Mouth, then kept the run going with Dents in a Peugeot, Bermondsey and The Old Estate with M24, sketching a world of estates, motors and sharp one-liners. On stage, their cadence is clipped and conversational, riding stripped-back beats with a back-and-forth that keeps the focus on writing and timing. The show draws from their Quick Little Mixtape (2021) and Mugshot (2024), alongside their Plugged In with Fumez The Engineer and link-ups with Norman Pain and Patrick Karneigh Jr. Their approach sits within today’s UK rap codes, balancing street detail with punchline craft for a set steeped in London imagery, now landing in Manchester.
