This Is Lorelei

On 18 November 2026 at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds, This Is Lorelei — the solo project of songwriter-producer Nate Amos (also half of Water From Your Eyes) — brings a set shaped by years of restless writing and DIY production. First known within a tight Chicago scene before relocating to New York, Amos built the project through a flood of self-released tracks and collaborations, tracing a line between lo-fi pop, folk-leaning sketches and sharper experimental turns, always anchored by a clear melodic sense.

His 2024 album Box for Buddy, Box for Star marked a new chapter: an intentionally written full-length that looks at sobriety and shifting personas with a dry, self-aware touch, filtered through a genre-agnostic approach. The record’s afterlife included a deluxe edition with covers and collaborations alongside MJ Lenderman, Hayley Williams, Jeff Tweedy, Cameron Winter and others, while his songs have been adopted by peers across scenes. Onstage, expect that same elastic logic: heart-on-sleeve hooks rubbing shoulders with art-pop angles, acoustic ideas blooming into electric rushes, and a writer unafraid to switch masks mid-song without losing the thread. It’s This Is Lorelei in the present tense, drawing on a decade of sketches and breakthroughs and folding them into something immediate.
