On 25 September 2026 Home Free will perform at the Melkweg in Amsterdam with a fully a cappella country show. Since 2001 the quintet from Minnesota has been developing a sound of layered harmonies, Tim Foust’s very deep bass and the rhythms of vocal percussionist Adam Rupp. After their victory on The Sing-Off in 2013 their reach expanded, but the core remained: songs without instruments that sound broad and rhythmic.

You’ll be treated to a set that places original material alongside reinterpretations of country classics and pop songs, with influences from gospel and folk that lend the whole subtle new shades. The current lineup — Adam Rupp, Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust, Adam Chance and Adam Bell‑Bastien — focuses on well-crafted arrangements, close harmony and a smooth interplay between lead and choral parts. From hushed ballads to uptempo numbers, Home Free demonstrates how far you can go with just voices, bringing a taste of Nashville to the heart of Amsterdam.
