Cum Together presents underscores at Celebrities Pride, at Celebrities Nightclub in Vancouver, on July 31, 2026. Under the moniker underscores, San Francisco-born producer and songwriter April Harper Grey blurs the lines between experimental pop and electronic music. Early tracks leaned into dubstep roots influenced by Skrillex, then widened into hyperpop, pop-punk, emo and indie pop across the EPs Skin Purifying Treatment (2018), We Never Got Strawberry Cake (2019) and Character Development! (2020). Fishmonger (2021) refined a mix of abrasive guitars, tight electronic rhythms and melodic hooks, followed by Boneyard AKA Fearmonger the same year, support dates with 100 gecs, a first headline run and a Lollapalooza appearance. With Wallsocket (2023, Mom + Pop), underscores pushed a narrative-driven approach, pulling in rock, folk, country and shoegaze textures around a fictional Midwest town, later expanded in 2024 with Wallsocket (Director’s Cut) and the single My Guy (Corporate Shuffle). Parallel projects include the electronic collective Six Impala, the bedroom-pop outfit Papaya & Friends and the alias Milkfish, feeding a practice that crosses scenes and genres with ease.
