Info
Allah-Las bring their Los Angeles-bred garage-psych to MOTH Club, London, on 23 June 2026. Formed by crate-diggers Miles Michaud, Pedrum Siadatian, Spencer Dunham and Matthew Correia, the band has carved a lean, 60s-inclined sound: reverb-soaked guitars, close harmonies and unfussy rhythms that glide between surf, folk-rock and soft psychedelia. On stage, they lean into the groove developed across LAHS and Zuma 85, folding in motorik pulses, disco and soul shadings without losing their jangly sparkle.
The set draws freely from their catalogue — Allah-Las, Worship the Sun, Calico Review, LAHS, Zuma 85 — treating each song like a postcard from the road. Correia’s percussion and Dunham’s bass keep a steady sway while the twin guitars trade lines that nod to West Coast psych without pastiche. Their reverberation-radio instincts sometimes surface as dusty gems and understated covers, woven into arrangements that stay warm and tactile even at their most concise.
Songs about distance, memory and motion unfold at an unhurried clip: tambourine snap, mellotron shimmer, choruses that land then drift. It’s a travelogue in melodies and textures, carried by a band that lets detail, groove and harmony do the talking.
