HOPE invites Maceo Plex to take over the booth at Hola Club Sitges. An American DJ and producer of Cuban origin, he delivers sets where techno, house, electro and hints of funk intersect in a fluid, dark narrative. His sound leans on pronounced basslines, processed vocals and a futuristic aesthetic that propels the dancefloor without excess.
In his live shows, Maceo Plex typically stretches the journey: long transitions, measured buildups and a sway between deep groove and rawer energy. Under this alias (and others such as Maetrik or Mariel Ito) he has developed a personal language that avoids rigid labels and adapts to the moment, with echoes of rave culture and retrofuturist nods.
His session for HOPE will emphasize mixing and melodic tension: a selection that links new releases with his own catalog and classic references, always keeping the dancefloor at the core. Scheduled for 11 July 2026 at Hola Club Sitges, in Sitges.
