Kid Kapichi

Kid Kapichi bring their sharp, politically wired punk to The 1865 in Southampton on 14 November 2026. Formed in Hastings, the quartet fuse punk, alt-rock and post-punk into terse riffs and spoken-sung hooks, taking aim at daily grind and national farce. Tracks like Party At No. 10 and Can EU Hear Me have already nailed the mood of the times, balancing bite with choruses built for crowded rooms.

With their fourth album, Fearless Nature, the lens tilts inward. Lead single Stainless Steel turns the title into a doubt — “Are you scared of your fearless nature?” — before Jack Wilson concedes he’s not made of stainless steel, but blood and bone. The punch remains tight and percussive, yet the writing opens up, letting fragility sit alongside the fire. On stage, expect a set that folds this new candour into their older missives, switching between jagged grooves, chant-along lines and the kind of straight-talking that keeps their songs stuck in your head long after the amps cool.
