Blood Red Shoes

Blood Red Shoes bring their lean, wired rock to Glasgow on 27 October 2026 at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. Formed in Brighton in 2004, the duo of Laura-Mary Carter (guitar, vocals) and Steven Ansell (drums, vocals) builds songs with a stripped setup where riffs, beats and voices lock in without padding. Their writing squares tight rhythmic tension with clear vocal lines, drawing from indie rock, garage grit, noise edges and a post-punk pulse.
