The Rezillos play Metronome, Nottingham, on 9 October 2026 at 6:00 pm. The Rezillos are a punk/new wave band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1976. Their independent debut single, 'I Can't Stand My Baby', received airplay on BBC Radio 1's John Peel show and brought them early underground attention.
Their follow-up singles 'My Baby Does Good Sculptures', 'Top of the Pops' and 'Destination Venus' followed. The band recorded their album 'Can't Stand the Rezillos' at the Power Station studio in New York and played a gig at CBGB's during downtime. The album reached the top 10 in the UK album chart.
