Ibibio Sound Machine are a UK band blending West African rhythms, electronic textures, disco, post-punk and club energy, with an afro-futurist approach. Formed in London in 2013 around the vocals of British-Nigerian frontwoman Eno Williams and co-founder Max Grunhard, the 8-piece ensemble have built a body of work and a following.
Their discography spans five albums. They have performed at Glastonbury, WOMAD Australia and New Zealand, Wilderness, 6 Music Festival, Green Man and Rock en Seine, supported Coldplay at Wembley Stadium, and appeared on Later… with Jools Holland and KEXP. Their sixth album is planned for release in 2026 on Merge Records.
