On 1 June 2026 at Gorilla, Manchester, JMSN brings his introspective R&B and soul project to the stage. Born in Detroit and now based in Los Angeles, singer, songwriter and producer Christian Berishaj first emerged with the pop rock band Love Arcade, then under the electro-pop alias Christian TV, before reshaping his music as JMSN in 2011 on his own White Room Records. Since debut album Priscilla (2012), his catalogue has traced a line between 90s-leaning R&B, slow-burning ballads, guitar-led arrangements and layered harmonies. Studio work includes collaborations with the hip-hop scene, notably on Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city. Releases like JMSN (Blue Album), It Is., Whatever Makes U Happy, Velvet, the live set Live at Water Village and Heals Me move the project toward a more organic soul, carried by a live band and a voice-forward writing style. On stage, the set leans on songs that stretch and breathe, with grooves built on space and melody.
