Kid Kapichi

Kid Kapichi bring their sharp, street-level rock to New Century in Manchester on 19 November 2026. Formed in Hastings on England’s south coast, the quartet — Jack Wilson, Ben Beetham, Eddie Lewis and George Macdonald — fuse punk bite, alt-rock hooks and post-punk tension into songs that speak plainly about local politics, precarity, social frustration and mental health. Massive guitars and a vocal delivery close to spoken word give their tracks a direct, punchy edge.

After a run of late-2010s singles and EPs, the band set the tone with debut album This Time Next Year (2021), balancing chant-ready riffs with a keen eye for everyday life. Here’s What You Could Have Won (2022) pushed the critique further and included a collaboration with Bob Vylan. There Goes The Neighbourhood (2024) continued to map urban life and the pressure points of contemporary Britain, while extending their reach across independent rock and punk stages in the UK and Europe. On stage, they channel that abrasive-meets-melodic blend into tight, high-impact songs, with lyrics built for call-and-response and riffs that hit hard.
