Pete Tong brings Ibiza Classics to Blenheim Palace in Woodstock on 27 June 2026. A key voice at BBC Radio 1 since the early 90s, he has spent decades connecting UK club culture with Ibiza and the US. With Essential Selection and Essential Mix, he shaped how dance music travels; on stage, he translates those anthems for a live ensemble with arranger-conductor Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra.
From early days in soul clubs to A&R at London Records, Tong helped the first Chicago house records land in Britain. The Ibiza Classics project follows that path, reworking house and rave standards with strings, brass and rhythm section while keeping the pulse of the originals. The set draws on his albums Classic House, Ibiza Classics, Chilled Classics and Pete Tong & Friends – Ibiza Classics, approached with the instincts of a DJ who still thinks from the dancefloor up.
