Info

Beverley Knight returns to Wolverhampton on 30 June 2026 at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls with her Born To Perform Tour. Raised in the Pentecostal church, she shaped a blend of gospel, soul, neo-soul and contemporary R&B that underpins her writing and voice. Her path runs from The B-Funk (1995) and Prodigal Sista (1998) to Who I Am (2002) and Affirmation (2004), then Music City Soul (2007), 100% (2009), Soul UK (2011), Soulsville (2016) and The Fifth Chapter (2023), sketching a catalogue that moves between roots and pop contours.

On stage, Knight draws across three decades of songs with a clear sense of groove, melody and storytelling. She has also stepped onto major UK stages, from opening for Take That in 2006 to supporting Prince at The O2 in 2007, experiences that sharpen her live approach. Parallel to her albums, she has made her mark in the West End with roles in The Bodyguard, Memphis, Cats, The Drifters Girl, Sylvia and Sister Act, bringing theatrical timing to her concerts.

This date brings that journey back to the city where it began, connecting early influences with her most recent chapter.
