Myrath

On 9 October 2026 at Audio, Glasgow, Myrath bring their Blazing Desert Metal to the stage. Forged between France and Tunisia, the band tethers razor-sharp riffs to cinematic orchestrations and rhythmic impulses drawn from North African and Middle Eastern traditions, with echoes from India and Europe. It’s not a lab blend but a sound grown from shared roots, carried by the guitar work of Malek Ben Arbia and the voice of Zaher Zorgati.

Their story runs through a charged period with Tales of the Sands, written during the Tunisian revolution, and continues across Legacy and Shehili where melody and orchestral colors took more space. Karma (2024) pushed that arc further, with an arena-ready scope that sharpened the contrast between heavy grooves, Arabic modes, and widescreen hooks. Live, expect tightly locked rhythms, fluid solos, and vocal lines that shift from power metal clarity to melismatic phrases, with arrangements that keep the focus on dynamics rather than sheer volume.

Myrath are now looking ahead to a new chapter: a 2026 album in the works, including a duet with Elize Ryd from Amaranthe. This date in Glasgow catches them in that momentum, drawing from across their catalogue while pointing to what’s next.
