Info
Kittie land at O2 Academy Islington, London, on 11 August 2026. Formed by sisters Morgan and Mercedes Lander, the Canadian band moves between nu metal bite, thrash weight and melodic breaks. On stage, the set sifts through drop-tuned riffs, the switch between harsh vocals and clean lines, and songs that span their early impact with Spit and Oracle through to the 2024 album Fire. Tara McLeod’s guitar drives a dense, groove-led sound while the drums keep it tight and forceful, with direct structures built for a live room.
Split Chain bring a Bristol take on alternative rock and shoegaze, layering saturated guitars over a grunge and emo backbone. The band leans on contrast: thick distortion versus shadowy melodies, tension against release, with a compact energy that keeps the focus on hooks without softening the weight.
Harpy adds a dark-pop and alt-metal edge, where fragile melodies meet punchy riffs and a gothic-tinged atmosphere. The writing stays concise and melodic, balancing intensity and detail to blur the lines between heavy textures and pop sensibility, crafted as much for impact as for mood.
