Bayonne

Bayonne, the stage name of Austin musician Roger Sellers, takes over Le Pop-up du Label in Paris on September 7, 2026 with a live show that pushes his electronic avant-pop further. Alone on stage, he weaves his pieces in successive layers, stacking loops, keyboards and percussion, with the voice inserting itself as an instrument among the others. His touch blends electronic pop, ambient and dream pop, with repetitive motifs, airy textures and a supple pulse that settles in smoothly.

His fourth album, Filters, extends the melodic thread sketched on Temporary Time while opening up new spaces. You hear clear pianos, velvety synths, some field recordings and rhythmic writing that keeps its momentum without force. Composed in the wake of a bereavement, the record seeks a form of acceptance, and on stage these pieces gain breadth, acquiring more relief and room to breathe.

From his earliest records released as Roger Sellers through to Drastic Measures, Bayonne has honed an organic, precise and patient electronic sound. At the Pop-up, his evolving set channels energy between minimalism, earworm melodies and choral washes, with that attention to detail that turns material into soundscapes.
