On 20 June 2026, Jackies Open Air Daytime - OFF BCN arrives at La Terrrazza, Barcelona, with an event that crosses Detroit’s heritage and the pulse of the local scene.
Kevin Saunderson, a key figure of the Belleville Three alongside Juan Atkins and Derrick May, has spent decades defining a language that combines Detroit techno’s rhythmic precision with house and soul accents. Founder of KMS Records and one half of Inner City with Paris Grey, he alternates in his sets repetitive basslines, direct melodies and a thread that connects his early classics with current productions. Under the alias E-Dancer he explores his rawer, more hypnotic side, and behind the decks he typically builds bridges between eras without losing focus on the dancefloor.
From Barcelona, Piem brings the perspective of a Jackies resident with more than twenty years’ experience. His house is direct and club-oriented, built on groove, elastic basslines and upfront vocals. A regular on stages such as Sónar, Amnesia, Hï Ibiza, Pacha and Space Miami, he has released on labels including DFTD, Ministry of Sound and Crosstown Rebels. In his sets he moves between vocal house, disco-tinged nods and dancefloor energy, linking the Barcelona scene with the international circuit.
