Info
Performing under the name Bedouine, Azniv Korkejian unfolds a pared-down folk, carried by a calm voice and arpeggiated guitars. On September 7, 2026, at La Marbrerie in Montreuil, she will present a set in which songs are written from an intimate perspective, between limpid melodies and finely honed lyrics. At the heart of the concert is Neon Summer Skin, her third album, written after a visit to her family in Saudi Arabia, which explores family ties, childhood and the moment that it ends. These new tracks expand her palette, situated between hushed American folk and introspective songcraft, uncluttered and focused on melody and words.
Born in Aleppo to an Armenian family, and having spent time in Saudi Arabia before moving to the United States, Bedouine has, since 2017, shaped a singer‑songwriter repertoire with clean lines, from her self-titled debut to Bird Songs of a Killjoy and then Waysides. On stage, this economy of means creates room for nuance: a guitar, a voice, a few carefully placed arrangements. One can hear the lineage with artists she met on tour, from Fleet Foxes to Father John Misty, while she retains a personal, attentive and precise songwriting voice.
