Squeeze brings its Tried, Tested and Trixies tour to the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto on August 31, 2026. Anchored by the songwriting pair Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, the London outfit threads wiry guitars with sharp everyday storytelling, drawing on a catalogue that runs from Take Me I’m Yours, Cool for Cats and Up the Junction to later highlights from Cradle to the Grave and The Knowledge. Close harmonies, brisk hooks and the kind of narrative pop the band has honed on stage over decades.
Joining as special guests, Adam Ant retraces his path from the post-punk charge of Adam and the Ants to solo cuts shaped by glam pop and dance-rock. From Kings of the Wild Frontier and Prince Charming to Friend or Foe and beyond, his set leans on tight beats and bold melodies.
Also on the bill, Haircut 100 revives its early-80s blend of new wave and jazz-funk, with clean guitars, supple basslines, sax lines and bright percussion. Centered around Nick Heyward with the classic lineup, the band revisits Pelican West-era songs and kindred tracks, keeping the groove light on its feet.
