Info
The Menzingers bring their Everything I Ever Saw North American Tour to The Palace Theatre in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Formed in Scranton in 2006, the band pairs the guitars and voices of Greg Barnett and Tom May with Eric Keen on bass and Joe Godino on drums. Starting from a brisk, no-frills punk base, they’ve opened up their sound toward a more melodic, guitar-forward rock, with storytelling that circles around memory, daily life and the shifts of adulthood. Key releases trace that arc: A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology (2007), Chamberlain Waits (2010), the pivot of On the Impossible Past (2012), then Rented World (2014), After the Party (2017), Hello Exile (2019), the reworked From Exile (2020) and Some of It Was True (2023).
Hot Water Music joins from Gainesville’s DIY punk lineage. Since 1994, the group has balanced melodic punk and post-hardcore, marked by the gravelly, alternating vocals of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard and a writing style that stays tense yet tuneful. Their path runs from Finding the Rhythms and No Division to A Flight and a Crash, Caution and The New What Next, then a return with Exister, Light It Up, Feel the Void and Vows (2024).
Opening, Weakened Friends from Portland, Maine shape an alternative rock that blends indie immediacy, power-pop energy and grunge-leaning guitars. Led by Sonia Sturino with Annie Hoffman, they deliver concise songs heard on Common Blah (2018) and Quitter (2021).
