SIGHT presents Themba and PAUZA on August 30, 2026 at Ku Barcelona. Themba, a DJ and producer from Johannesburg, builds a bridge between afro house, melodic house and techno: percussion up front, soulful vocals and hypnotic progressions designed for the dancefloor. His sets move from a tribal pulse to more melodic atmospheres without losing tension. In the studio he has signed collaborations and remixes with Jack Back, Nico de Andrea and Hannah Wants, and released tracks such as “Disappear”; live he has played in places like Ibiza, London and New York and has shared the booth with Black Coffee and Peggy Gou. In Barcelona he arrives with a clear club-focused approach and a wide rhythmic palette.
From Havana, PAUZA brings together Zahira Sánchez and Paula Fernández in a dialogue between house, Latin American rhythms and elements of Cuban folklore. Their music leans on Afro‑Cuban percussion and related melodic textures, translating everyday scenes into danceable patterns while staying true to the language of the club. Flexible structures, a groove that breathes the Caribbean, and cultural accents that shape the dancefloor define their direct, unadorned proposal.
