Info

On September 20, 2026, History in Toronto welcomes Loathe for A Stranger to You, with Fleshwater and Prostitute. Formed in Liverpool, Loathe shape a contemporary metal that blends metalcore, nu metal and alternative metal with shades of shoegaze, industrial and ambient. Built around Kadeem France, Erik Bickerstaffe, Sean Radcliffe and Feisal El‑Khazragi, the band moves between dense rhythmic drive and misty textures, playing on the clean/scream dialogue. From The Cold Sun to I Let It In and It Took Everything and the instrumental detour The Things They Believe, their catalogue frames a set that shifts from pressure to drift while keeping a tight focus on riffs and atmosphere.

Fleshwater, from Boston, draws a line between shoegaze, grunge, alternative metal and post-hardcore, with Marisa Shirar’s voice cutting through thick guitars and hazy melodies. After demo2020 and the debut We’re Not Here to Be Loved, the 2025 follow-up 2000: In Search Of The Endless Sky sharpened their 90s-tinged mix of weight and air, with hooks and sudden impact.

Opening, Prostitute channel noise rock, post-hardcore and hardcore punk into terse, abrasive songs driven by hammered rhythms, dissonant guitars and a declamatory voice. Formed in Dearborn in 2020 and marked by Middle Eastern inflections and a charged lyrical backdrop, they arrive off Attempted Martyr (2024) and Mr. Dada (2025) with a direct, physical stage approach.
