Saavan Release Party

On 6 June 2026 at the Pop-up du Label in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, Saavan presents Pure and opens a new chapter. Long associated with the electro‑chill and downtempo scenes, the Parisian duo tightens their songwriting and shifts their approach: starting from scratch, letting the machines breathe, moving forward without signposts. Claire and Lucas’s voices answer one another in diaphanous echoes, between hushed confidences and suspended harmonies, carried by more adventurous—sometimes disenchanted—layers of synth. The sonic palette broadens noticeably: the electro of Mount Kimbie or Bonobo, the textures and R&B emotion of James Blake or Chet Faker, the pop toplines of Jadu Heart, the hip‑hop drive and independence of Tyler, The Creator, with an underlying trip‑hop haze reminiscent of Massive Attack. On stage, Saavan embraces this turn and unveils a rawer, more nocturnal sound—a set conceived as a journey toward a new clarity, true to their search for sounds freed from convention.
