Meute X Poney Club 2026

Thursday, 9 July 2026, MEUTE returns to the Poney Club at Toulouse–Blagnac Airport (Blagnac) for a live show marking the 10th anniversary of “Jubel.” Formed in Hamburg around trumpeter Thomas Burhorn, the techno brass band brings together eleven musicians who transpose techno, house and deep house into acoustic versions carried by brass and percussion. Without machines or turntables, the group shapes the pulse with sousaphone, snare drum, bass drum, trumpets and saxophones, crafting track structures conceived as if for the club.

On stage, MEUTE moves between rearrangements of electronic classics and original compositions. Their cover of “Jubel,” which propelled their rise, acts as a through line for a set that can summon Rej d’Âme or wink to tracks by Laurent Garnier, Dennis Ferrer or Deadmau5, while drawing from their albums Tumult, Puls, Taumel and Empor. The writing remains focused on collective dynamics and the play of build-ups, sustaining the dancefloor’s tension by purely instrumental means.

A performance that reasserts the power of brass at the heart of the night, set within the Poney Club.
