HAAi

HAAi arrives in Madrid with a live show that crosses hypnotic techno, breakbeat, psychedelic textures and an experimental-leaning electronic pop pulse. Australian-born and now based in London, Teneil Throssell shifted from psych rock with Dark Bells to a club-focused approach after moving to the UK. Her residency at Phonox (Brixton) since 2016 solidified a language built on repetition, percussion up front and processed vocals that act as another instrument within the mix.

In the studio, HAAi followed up EPs such as Motorik Voodoo Bush Doof Musik, Systems Up, Windows Down and The Sun Made For A Soft Landing, and in 2022 she released her debut album Baby, We’re Ascending on Mute Records. Her productions move between rave energy, hazy ambient and deconstructed trance references—a thread that also appears in collaborations with Romy and Fred again.. on the single "Lights Out."

On Wednesday 23 September 2026 at Café Berlín in Madrid, she will present a live set that alternates acceleration with more introspective passages: dense bass, taut rhythms and filtered melodies, with a sound design that emphasizes detail and the physicality of the percussion.
