On July 3, 2026, at La Clairière in Paris, Cloonee takes to the decks for a set cut from his direct, no-nonsense tech house. A producer and DJ from the British scene, he has forged since the mid-2010s a sound propelled by thick bass, tight percussion and short vocal samples, often sourced from hip-hop and R&B. His early releases circulated through European house circuits before he gradually tightened his writing toward a more stripped-back, frontal approach designed for the club and long DJ mixes.
Tracks like “Be Good To Me,” “Like What?” and “Sun Goes Down” mark this turn — from the sway of UK house toward a tenser tech house, minimalist in its elements and centered on rhythmic impact. Under the name Hellbent he extends this aesthetic across his releases and events, with a regular presence in Ibiza and on the North American scene.
