On July 9, 2026 at The Pearl in Vancouver, BC, Yung Bae brings his future-funk blueprint to the stage with special guests. Born Dallas Cotton, the producer-DJ shapes a sound at the crossroads of vaporwave atmospheres, disco, funk and 80s Japanese city pop. Launched through his online Bae series and extended with Groove Continental: Side A and Side B, then BAE 6, his music thrives on supple grooves, reworked loops and a strong sampling culture.

Live, Yung Bae threads basslines, horn bursts and chopped vocals into house-leaning rhythms that swing without rushing, moving between feel-good mid-tempos and brisk four-on-the-floor. In recent years he has nudged the formula toward more vocal, pop-focused cuts while keeping the retro backbone intact, a shift echoed in collaborations with Brasstracks, Channel Tres, Jon Batiste and Nile Rodgers.
