Danakil

Danakil arrives on December 12, 2026 at Salle Baltus Le Lorrain in Creutzwald. Formed in Marly-le-Roi in the late 1990s, the band has since carved out a path in French-language reggae where the songwriting takes center stage. Conscious lyrics, roots groove, prominent brass and call-and-response vocals: their signature is recognizable from the first bars. Albums such as Microclimat, Dialogue de sourds, Echos du temps and La Rue raisonne have built a solid repertoire, with deep basslines, precise skanks and melodies that stick.

On stage, Danakil fosters collective energy. The rhythm section holds the pulse, the brass colors and revitalizes, and the backing vocals support a direct, clear lead.
