Boris pres. Malive, Marcel BS

On May 8, 2026, Boris Club in Barcelona opens the floor with Malive, a Brazilian producer and DJ who forged his identity between the national rap scene and electronic clubs. Since his teens he has produced instrumentals for the hip hop scene — including "Olho de Tigre" by Djonga, a track cited in the context of anti-racist struggles — and, over time, has transferred that rhythmic heritage to house and its variants. At the decks he plays percussive grooves, melodic basslines and clipped, processed vocals, designed for direct dialogue with the dancefloor.

Based in Brazil, Malive has released a string of singles and EPs on labels such as Diynamic, MoBlack, DOC/Kompakt, Monaberry, Get Physical and Warner, and continues to produce remixes in which he reinterprets material by figures like Gilberto Gil and Guilherme Arantes. His tracks appear in sets by artists such as Solomun, MEDUZA and Pete Tong, placing him on the international electronic map without losing his ties to his roots.

At Boris Club he will share the bill with Marcel BS; a night focused on the dancefloor where Malive distills his trajectory between hip hop and house into a set with a warm pulse and sustained dancing.
