Former voice and pen of Thérapie Taxi, Raphaël Faget‑Zaoui is carving out a solo path under the name Zaoui, with a French pop that blends direct hooks, electronic touches and blunt, intimate songwriting. After the EP Mauvais Démons in 2022, he released his first album Pulsations in 2023, carried by singles like “Laisse aller ton corps” and “Stigmate,” before embarking on a widely noticed tour. He went on to multiply releases: a collaboration with Vernis Rouge on “Comme des loups,” then in 2025 the tracks “Toxic,” “Chic” and “Xanax mon amour,” oscillating between emotional clarity and self‑deprecation. In 2026, “Love Noir,” a duet with Stéphane, set the stage for a new album announced the same year. On stage, Zaoui plays the moment — dance and the word — between synthetic pop, near‑rock energy and a direct rapport with the audience.
