Zaoui

Former voice and songwriter of Thérapie Taxi, Zaoui is carving out a solo path with French pop that hits the mark: immediate choruses, electro-dance production, and a blunt speak-sing delivery about our loves, flaws and routines. After a debut album in 2023 that laid the groundwork, he followed up with new tracks like "Toxic et Chic," "Xanax mon amour," and "Love Noir" featuring Stéphane, which sketch the contours of a forthcoming album announced for 2026. His writing observes everyday life without détour, balancing emotional clarity and self-mockery, while the melodies are designed to stick in the head.

On stage, the project gains edge and depth: taut beats, present guitars, vocals front and center, and a direct rapport with the audience. At the Transbordeur in Villeurbanne on 21 January 2027, Zaoui put together a set that drew from all his periods, from club-ready cuts to more intimate pieces. The idea is simple: get people moving while keeping the sense of the lyrics, blend electronic pulses with an almost-rock energy, and recreate live that back-and-forth between the Thérapie Taxi heritage and an identity now clearly established. It’s an opportunity to follow a trajectory that continues to refine itself, track by track.
