On May 15, La Paloma (Barcelona) opens the floor to a night of contemporary disco-house with three complementary approaches behind the decks.
COEO arrives from Munich with a sound that crosses classic house, disco, funk and boogie nods. The duo has honed a warm, club-ready aesthetic: springy basslines, tastefully placed vocal samples and melodies that propel without forcing. After EPs on Toy Tonics — with tracks like "Feel Me," "Back in the Days" and "Mydonna" — and releases for labels such as Razor-N-Tape and Let's Play House, their arsenal mixes punchy edits with originals primed for the dancefloor.
Ella Knight brings a fresh perspective to electronic groove, with a set that reworks house and disco references for today. Precise rhythms, full-bodied bass and a flow that keeps the dance tense without losing lightness.
