The Story So Far

The Story So Far bring their sharp-edged pop punk to Toronto on October 28, 2026 at History. Formed in 2007 in Walnut Creek, California, the quartet of Parker Cannon (vocals), Kevin Geyer (guitar), Kelen Capener (bass) and Ryan Torf (drums) blends melodic hardcore grit with tight hooks and plain-spoken lyrics. From Under Soil and Dirt and What You Don’t See to the self-titled 2015 album and Proper Dose, their writing has shifted from breakneck tempos toward leaner, more spacious arrangements without dropping the tension. With I Want to Disappear (2024), they fold in subtler textures and a calmer pulse while keeping the same straight-ahead bite in the melodies. On stage, that balance becomes tight riffs, unvarnished vocals and choruses built for the crowd, with themes orbiting relationships, burnout and the awkward steps of growing up.
