Teddy Swims « The ugly tour »

Atlanta-born singer and songwriter Teddy Swims brings The Ugly Tour to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on October 5, 2026. Moving between soul, R&B and pop with shades of gospel, rock and country, he first drew attention in 2019 with online covers that highlighted a warm, melismatic voice before shifting toward his own material. The EPs Unlearning (2021), Tough Love and Sleep Is Exhausting (2022) laid out themes of relationships, vulnerability and rebuilding. His debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) in 2023 pushed that mix from stripped piano ballads to more pop-rock textures, led by the single Lose Control.

On stage, Swims plays it with a full band that lets the voice lead without losing the groove: tight rhythm section, layered harmonies and arrangements built for dynamics. The set moves from slow-burn confessions to more driving cuts, connecting older favorites with newer songs across his catalog, with a direct, unfiltered rapport that keeps the room close.
