Roméo & Juliette

Roméo & Juliette, a French musical launched in 2001 at the Palais des Congrès, has been translated into 18 languages and performed in 20 countries. The show will be presented on March 11, 2028, at 2:00 PM at the Sud de France Aréna. Since its beginnings, it has brought together Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara, the original duo that audiences can still see on stage.

With songs such as “Les Rois du monde” and “Aimer,” Roméo & Juliette has left a mark on the history of musical theatre. The work travels across cultures and adapts to the changes of its time while preserving its identity: memorable songs, a large-scale aesthetic, and a strong sense of spectacle.

For Gérard Presgurvic, the story asks: how far are we willing to go for love? Roméo & Juliette returns in a reimagined version, incorporating new generational codes, a new cast, new costumes, and a new staging, while preserving the show’s DNA.
