Ghinzu

On 15 October 2026 at the Olympia in Paris, Ghinzu returns to the stage to present W.O.W.A., their new album released on 29 May 2026 by PIAS. Born at the turn of the 2000s, the Brussels band has crafted a rock that is at once direct and arranged, where the piano occupies a central role, surrounded by sharp guitars and keyboards that create almost cinematic atmospheres. Fronted by John Stargasm’s vocals and keyboards, Ghinzu unfolds live tension buildups, abrupt breaks and stretched formats that are true to their identity.

On the bill are tracks from W.O.W.A. and songs drawn from their three previous albums, Electronic Jacuzzi, Blow and Mirror Mirror. The solid rhythm section of Mika Hasson on bass and Antoine Michel on drums is present, alongside the guitar duo of Greg Remy and Jean Waterlot, producing a sound that blends indie rock, alternative energy and electronic touches. With no unnecessary effects, the set plays on the balance between melody and sonic density, with that dark, cinematic grain that has become the band’s hallmark. A Paris date conceived to hear Ghinzu where they express themselves best: on stage.
