Orange Blossom

Orange Blossom returns to the stage on October 3, 2026, at l’Atabal in Biarritz. Led by drummer-composer Carlos Robles Arenas, the Nantes-based group blends machines, strings and percussion for a journey that intersects Turkish, Egyptian, Malian, Senegalese and Cuban traditions. The vocals, sung in Arabic, Persian and Portuguese, glide over electronic textures and a precise rhythmic pulse, oscillating between club trance and more intimate moments.

This new live show is built on their fourth album, written after ten years without a new release: thirteen tracks that broaden the palette without fixing it. On stage, Orange Blossom lets beats, oud, violin and synth pads converse, with a sense of contrast that plays on crescendos and abrupt shifts. The music moves from dance-ready pulses to more contemplative tableaux without losing the thread.

At the center, Carlos Robles Arenas’s direction frames the voyage and leaves room for the voices to carry the narrative. The set is conceived as a continuous movement, where each piece opens a door to elsewhere while remaining grounded in the present moment of the concert.
