Celtic Legends

Celtic Legends celebrates its 25th anniversary and returns to the stage with a new chapter devoted to Irish dance. On March 7, 2027, the company will take over the Zénith d’Auvergne in Cournon-d’Auvergne for a 100% live show where percussive footwork and melodies converse in real time.

At the musical helm, five instrumentalists led by Sean McCarthy bring the uilleann pipes, penny whistle, fiddle, bodhrán and guitar to life. Against this sonic backdrop, the choreographies devised by Jacintha Sharpe string together ensembles, duets and solos, alternating the energy of reels and jigs with more melodic moments.

The DNA of Celtic Legends is heard and seen: a close dialogue between musicians and dancers, a compact formation, acoustics put at the forefront, and a way of revisiting traditions without freezing them. Twenty-five years on the road and an identity built over tours: here, everything is performed live, up close to the audience, with careful attention to rhythm, precision and the sheer pleasure of being on stage.
