Laurent Gerra is back with his new show Laurent Gerra Takes a Seat at the Table, a performance conceived like a multi-course service: imitations, sketches and songs on the menu, all simmered from current events. On March 31, 2027, he will arrive at the Palais des Congrès et des Expositions de la baie de Saint-Brieuc for a lively, teasing revue in which he skewers politicians, singers, TV presenters and film personalities, drawing them into his satirical hall of mirrors.

A master of vocal caricature, Gerra strings together vivid portraits, pastiches and musical detours with a precision that highlights his subjects’ tics, postures and little contradictions. Between fake press conferences, reinvented news bulletins and parodied choruses, he unfurls a gallery of familiar characters, without shying away from pointing out what stirs the country and social media. His recipe remains the same: sharp writing, a sense of rhythm inherited from the cabaret, and a taste for parody that captures the spirit of the times without being overwhelmed by it.
