Jeanfi Janssens « Tombé du ciel »

Jeanfi Janssens settles in Saint-Brieuc on 16 January 2027 at the Saint-Brieuc Bay Convention and Exhibition Centre with Tombé du ciel, a new one-man show fed by very fresh slices of life. A former flight attendant, he keeps a brisk storytelling pace and an eye that catches everyday details to twist them with his Northern accent and sharp self-deprecating humour.

On stage, he retraces a thread of memories that are sometimes tender, often blunt: a spell in a boarding school run by nuns, encounters that go off the rails without warning, and those first medical appointments where you discover vulnerabilities you hadn’t seen coming. He also recounts the switch into show business, likening it to a landing in an environment whose codes aren’t his, with his mother ever present in the background—a recurring figure who upends and reins him in.

Tombé du ciel lines up previously untold anecdotes, clashes of background and cultural disjunctions, without bells and whistles. Jeanfi plays the turbulence of his journey to bring forth concrete, recognizable scenes in which everyone can see a bit of themselves. A direct, well-paced stand-up that privileges lived experience and intimacy.
