Les Wampas will be in Nice on 17 October 2026 at the Théâtre Lino Ventura. On tour to promote their new album Où va nous ?, released on 6 February 2026, the band is showing what it does best: direct, electric rock, uncompromising. Formed in 1983 in the Paris region, it claims an alternative and punk vein, with Didier Wampas as master of ceremonies, microphone at the ready and energy intact.
On stage, the alchemy of the lineup that made the record creates the sound: Jean-Michel Lejoux on bass, Nicolas Schauer on drums, Tony Truant and Effello on guitars, and Didier Wampas on vocals. On the bill are recent tracks mixed with classics, jagged riffs and choruses sung at the top of their lungs. An evening to reconnect with that blend of irony, sweat and spontaneity that forms the band’s DNA—straightforward and up close to the audience.
