Shlohmo

Shlohmo returns to Paris on June 3, 2026 at Essaim / Main Room. The California producer associated with the Los Angeles beat scene, Henry Laufer sculpts a slow, velvety electronic sound at the intersection of downtempo, instrumental hip-hop, ambient and processed R&B. Misty textures, slowed rhythms, dark and melancholic pads: his signature plays on sonic material and space, between thick pulses and melodies in half-light.

First noticed with Bad Vibes in 2011, then Dark Red in 2015 and The End in 2019, Shlohmo has also built bridges to other scenes, from the Wedidit collective to the No More project with Jeremih. On stage he navigates between introspection and tension, capable of shifting his beats toward rougher, more abrasive terrain without losing the emotional thread. This set at Essaim / Main Room promises a passage through his world, where electronics converse with R&B and ambient, favoring sensation and gradual construction over mere showmanship.
